Benton Communications recognizes the potential impact and uncertainty the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is creating in Minnesota and the communities we serve. The safety and well-being of these communities and our employees are always a top priority; therefore, we have decided to take protective steps in hopes to minimize further spread of this disease.
- Refrain From Visiting Our Office
In an effort to do our part to stop the spread of this virus we are asking our members, customers and vendors to call our office to transact business instead of visiting our office.
- Payments
-Mail your payment. (2220 125th St NW, Rice MN 56367)
-Go to www.bctelco.net and make an online payment.
-Call our office (320-393-2115) to make a check payment over the phone.
-Drop your payment in the drop box at the end of our parking lot at the Rice business office or the Milaca Local Link office (ECE Building).
- Premise Visit
If you need a technician to come to your home or business, we will ask if you or anyone at your location has been currently diagnosed as being infected with Coronavirus (COVID-19) and if you have visited a “high risk” country within the last 14 days prior to the visit and/or have cold/flu symptoms, or has been in close contact with a confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) patient within 14 days prior to the visit. If you inform us this is the case, we will reschedule your appointment for a later date when the chance of cotangent has subsided.
- Scheduled Appointments
If you develop a contagious illness prior to the date of a schedule appointment, we ask that you contact us to reschedule the appointment, so we are not exposing our technicians or contributing to the spread of the illness.
- Trouble Shooting
Call us to help troubleshoot your problems over the phone. Many technical problems can be resolved without having to come in or for us to send out a technician. We have 24/7 help available by calling 320-393-2115.
As an essential service provider, it is our responsibility to be prepared. These steps are precautionary but necessary in maintaining a safe working environment for our staff and continuous network connectivity to our customers.
Thank you,
Cheryl Scapanski/General Manager
