Assistance Plan
Struggling with your bill? Minnesota’s Telephone Assistance Plan (TAP) and Federal Lifeline offer monthly discounts on landline telephone and broadband internet service. You may qualify for Minnesota’s TAP, which offers a monthly credit on landline service. Eligibility is based on income or enrollment in programs like Medicaid, SNAP, or SSI. If you’re on Medicaid or Housing Assistance, Lifeline re-enrollment is automatic. Lifeline also qualifies you for TAP—no extra application required.
